. . . About Our Regional Refresher Meetings & Our National Conferences

4Thank you for a fantastic meeting last Wednesday. Please thank all the behind the scene people for organizing these refresher meeting also. Karon and Louis are such a valuable source of information to have on our team. Each time we hear them talk we take away something new. Dave is a wonderful addition; we will be picking his brain on our next step of hiring office staff. The franchise discussion group was great. It is so nice to hear how other franchises have succeed in correcting some of the same issues we are having. Tani and I left there fired up and ready to market.

Starting the day Thursday my first phone call was from Nation's Care Link (Partnership listing from Forrest) having a 24/7 live-in lead for us! What a way to wrap up a powerful day of sharing with all of the Visiting Angel family

4This meeting was more than I expected. The speakers in the morning were enthusiastic and motivational, and I especially enjoyed hearing from the franchises in the afternoon. They all shared real world practical stuff that happens every day.

4Thank you so much, Brian and I had a wonderful, enlightening time at the Redondo Beach refresher. Karon Austin is always impressive with her professionalism and vast knowledge. The presentation and discussion led by Louis Feuer was very informative and especially helpful because it dealt with real day to day problems. Of course, he was entertaining as always! (Also, the lunch was excellent !) It was nice meeting Dave.

4I was so glad I went to this meeting and it helped solidify for me the value of the Conference in Colorado! Thank you; it was great listening to you and talking with you.

4As the rookie of the room yesterday, I got a lot out of it. I loved the presentation by Karen and enjoyed the laughs produced by Louis,. Karen would be a tough act to follow.

4We had a great winter break in Clearwater Beach, FL.  It's always great to reconnect with the Visiting Angels family, and charge up the motivation batteries.  We learned lots and the reminders were excellent.   We look forward to seeing the family next year in Florida and hopefully at the Conference in Colorado Springs.

4As Bonnie and I fast approach our 6th year as a franchisee, we want to express our appreciation to all of the Directors and staff who continue to dazzle us with there dedication to making us a success.

4It never fails....
 These Regional Conferences get better and better. The meetings are  like a support group in that all of the participants are in the same ballgame and feel comfortable in a "safe environment."  The willingness to share is unbelievable. I always learn something in these meetings. Also, the mix of oldies and newbies works well in this setting. My hat goes off to  the panel  of Visiting Angels directors which included: Jeffrey Johnson, Louis Feuer, Karon Austin, Dave Ritterling, Richard Bitner and Larry Meigs.

I look forward to the National Conference.

4I consider the refresher meetings well worth the time.  There is nothing like taking a break from the day to day and listening to educational speakers and fellow franchisees in order to bring new thoughts into the bsns.  The networking and support offered at these meetings can't be duplicated anywhere else.

4Thank you all for a very informative refresher meeting, it was a pleasure to attend. The morning sessions were quite helpful for our beginner's office and the afternoon shed lots of light on issues yet to come.  Well planned, to the point, all in all a nice event.

4I always get something out of these meetings....only if one thing, its more then I came in with.... Also functions as a good validation as to what I do do...and see that I'm doing as trained, and not forgetting the key features of what we need to do to achieve our bottom lines and goals of giving the best home care around.

Nannette and Lanie were more understanding of why I insist on certain things...they heard from the 'horses mouths' how important follow up is, tracking, and not taking the shortcuts.

. . . and Here's What They Say About our National Conferences.

4Before you read my comments/suggestions I want you guys to know how proud Dan and I are to be associated with such an outstanding organization. A company is only as good as its leaders and we feel that the integrity that is exercised by you two - as well as all of the staff that have joined you - is a breath of fresh air in our dog-eat-dog in corporate world and is destined for greatness. (Not too sure right now about our OWN greatness, but we have no doubts about yours)

The conference was so much more than we had even hoped for. We came home with our skulls at the cracking point...so crammed full with ideas we need to implement as well as grabbing a much needed spark of enthusiasm that we sometimes felt waning. The speakers, including all the franchisees, were so informative. I can't think of one single presentation that didn't yield new knowledge, fresh ideas, or zing a few reminders of what we've heard but not yet heeded.

Thank you for all you do for us and for the caring geniuses that you are!

4It is wonderful when ““like”” minded people get together, The results are phenomenal. The synergy of intellectual capital and sound business ideas can supercharge an organization. Without exception, this conference was the most beneficial and useful since I joined. You made everyone feel valued and important regardless of the size of their territory or performance. I love it when the focus is doing the right things right, rather than just generating cash flow. All of these things are important; however, when you do the right things right, the cash flows automatically.

4For over 50 years I have attended various national sales meetings. Yes, 50 years and it just seems like yesterday. You would think by now I would have got it. I don't think I ever attended a meeting, like this, that had more impact or value.

4I really enjoyed the Conference my highlights were:

4This was indeed a superb conference all around!! It was worth every penny and even the gambling losses, too. We did order the audio for use with us and office staff training. Thanks to all of you for your part and we do really appreciate the current vision being pursued.

4Gosh I guess I am late in adding my kudos to the conference staff for putting together such a great variety of info, but thank you to ALL of you for giving us so much to think about. I think all of the info is stuff that I will surely use! I loved all the comments that have been printed and I hope that any critiques that are not printed will be of some value to the "team" also. Lastly, I couldn't agree more about the worth of Richard. You were "the guy" to go to and that is comforting for us to have that one person that is personable, reliable, and approachable!! Job well done and where are we going next year??? I am eager to pencil it in and start planning......reminds you of the kid in the back seat, "are we there yet?" Thanks again.

4 We enjoyed the conference. Many of the sessions provided great springboards of ideas for improving a new agency. Thank you for your thoughtful selection of presenters. The Visiting Angels Franchisees were awesome!!! We enjoyed meeting some of our California neighbors and other agency owners that we talked with during meals and breaks!!

4As you may have read from the numerous emails, the Las Vegas Conference was a smashing success. Bravo!!! to all the Corporate staff, Advisors, Speakers & Franchisees who attended. We were more than eager to attend this year’s annual conference following the impact that last year's conference had on
our business. We believe the Las Vegas conference has stretched our horizon even further and provided us with more than enough information & resources to take us to the next level. The MP3 CD will be a tremendous resource for everyone. We hope we'll have the opportunity to have some of the speakers at regional meetings so that we can all benefit from their powerful knowledge; especially Franchisees who couldn’t make it to Vegas.

4Hey guys! I am doing some research on the web, and I get to this one area. I see the one I want to search--it has a title something to the effect of Non Medical Home Care Help Resources. I am thinking "Gee, wouldn't it be nice to somehow get my name onto THAT?" And I click on it and to my ASTONISHMENT guess what fills the screen?? Visiting Angels!!! I could not believe it! My mouth dropped open it was such a neat surprise. It makes me so proud to be part of this company!
Keep up the good job guys! I am TOTALLY impressed because it was just like I was some lay person hunting and poking around the web and stumbled onto this gorgeous full screen ad for Visiting Angels!
